CPI Hotels is taking over the Ibis hotel in the city of Olomouc at the same time as its management contract with Accor hotels ran out at the end of April. CPI will be re-branding the hotel under the Comfort Hotels brand, which it recently won the franchise from Choice International Hotels in the United States. Comfort Hotels is an economy network of 1800 hotels around the world. The 90-room hotel, located in the center of Olomouc is CPI’s second in the city, as it acquired the Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc in 2013. According to Hospodářské noviny, CPI will be carrying out similar re-branding exercises with hotel Vladimir in Usti nad Labem and Fortuna City in Prague, both of which will be turned into Comfort Hotels.
