Renovation and modernization work at the Craiova airport in southern Romania has finished.
The project was funded by the Dolj County Council.
According to the chairman of the Dolj County Council, Ion Prioteasa, around €10m was invested in the airport upgrade, which included the construction of a five-story air traffic control tower.
The airport’s arrivals and departures terminals were also modernized with new security devices, waiting rooms, green areas and administrative and commercial spaces.
