In an effort to increase its presence in the city, Credit Suisse will reportedly add more than 1,000 jobs to the Wrocław labor market this year, the daily Puls Biznesu reports. The newspaper claims the company is looking to secure a grant from the EU for its investment. “We will not comment on these reports while the process is still underway,” said Arthur Baenzinger, head of the company’s Wrocław service center. He adds, however, that Credit Suisse is committed to the Wrocław market and is currently looking to improve its cooperation with local partners, including universities and city authorities.
Credit Suisse intends to increase its workforce in Wrocław to 3,500 employees in the coming months through this hiring drive. “We believe that the investment environment in the city will remain positive in the medium-term,” says Baenzinger.
