The developer Crestyl is feeling increasingly confident about progress on its DOCK 01 office building, as 40 percent of the 9,000 sqm building has already been leased.Crestyl is working together with UBM on the project, which is located along the Vltava river on the border of Prague’s 7th and 8th districts. The scenic location makes the project’s success thus far seem natural, but it comes against a backdrop of falling take-up in Prague. DOCK 01 is just the first of four commercial phases to be built as part of a wider mixed-use scheme. The first 58 luxury residential units of the project have already been completed as well. Crestyl’s director Omar Crestyl says that while the market is unlikely to expand this year, he’s determined to make 2013 a year of growth for his own company. “We can only do this by taking market share from the other companies. So we have to be the best at what we do — it’s the only way.”
