The volume of construction work in November last year was 4.2 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier, and compared to October, it kept its value, according to provisional data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Croatia.
November is the sixth consecutive month with year-on-year growth in the volume of construction work. CBS data show that in November, the volume of work performed on buildings was higher by 3.4 percent, and on other buildings by 5.5 percent compared to November 2019.
On a monthly basis, the volume of construction work on buildings decreased by 0.9, while on other buildings it retained value. In November, 58.4 percent of construction site hours were spent on new construction and 41.6 percent on reconstructions, repairs and maintenance.
