Croatia’s commodity exports increased by 11.7 percent y-o-y in the first 11 months of 2015, while imports were up 6.6 percent, according to the National Statistical Office (DZS). Exports amounted to €10.5bn for the period, while imports totaled €16.8bn, putting the goods exchange deficit at €6.3bn, a decrease of 1.38 percent compared to the same period of 2014.
Croatia’s exports to EU countries rose by 15.4 percent, while imports from the EU increased by 9.18 percent. Croatia’s exports to countries outside the EU went up by 5.2 percent, while imports to those countries decreased by 1.38 percent.
