Croatia’s GDP increased by 2.3 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, according to the national statistics office. The growth was lower than expected. The country’s economy rose by 2.6 percent in 2018, down from 2.9 percent in 2017. Household consumption increased by 3.9 percent in Q4, up 2.7 percent from the previous quarter. Exports of commodities and services also increased by 1.3 percent, while imports grew by 6.6 percent. The country’s GDP strengthened by just 0.1 percent in the last quarter when compared with Q3 results.
