Croatia’s Q2 GDP up 16.1% yoy

Croatia’s economic output rose by 16.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2021, according to the statistical office. Compared with the first quarter of this year, Croatia’s GDP decreased 0.2 percent in the April-June period.

Household consumption was up by a real 18.4 percent on the year in the second quarter of 2021, while government spending increased 4.0 percent. Exports of goods and services surged 40.9 percent and imports of goods and services expanded by 30.3 percent.
