Croatia sees demand for renting luxury villas growing

6 November 2020

The increase in tourist demand for luxury and separate accommodation in the pandemic has brought the domestic travel agency Croatia Luxury Rent (CLR) a summer increase in tourist arrivals by 12 percent compared to last year, but also an increase in the number of private villas for rent, from 300 to 400 this year.

This summer, CLR had their best results in the Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties, then in the Zadar and Split-Dalmatia counties, while the weakest villas in the far south was due to the distance and inability of car visitors.

CLR estimate that next year, especially in summer, Croatia will have a reputation as a safe and best holiday destination for many Europeans, which was imposed this summer, and that most of the requests of guests when booking as this year will relate to accommodation security, isolation from the main tourist movements and accommodation facilities (such as swimming pools, jacuzzis, outdoor fireplaces, multimedia, etc.).
