The industrial developer CTP has acquired Deva Logistics Park from a Belgian company owned by Yves Weerts. The transaction, whose volume CBRE put at more than €10m, closed at the end of June. CBRE was advising the vendor in the deal.
Deva Logistics Park is a Class A logistics park with the potential for 42,600 sqm of Gross Lettable Area, of which 26,000 sqm has already been completed. The park is currently occupied by Carrefour, Havi Logistics and Tibbett Logistic (which subleases from Carrefour). It’s located in Bacia, close to Deva and adjacent to the A1 motorway connecting Romania with Hungary. The first building was completed in 2009 and the second building was constructed in 2011. The site allows for the realization of an additional 16,900 sqm of warehouse space.
The deal is CTP’s third this year, having also taken over Cefin Arad, an industrial park with an area of over 90,000 sqm and CTPark Bucharest West (formerly Mercury Business Park).
