CTP Group signed a €160m syndicate loan with Allianz Group and ING Bank to finance a portfolio of industrial properties in the Czech Republic. The loan will be used to refinance existing loans from a group of CEE banks and to finance new projects completed in 2017. The refinancing with Allianz and ING is part of CTP’s ongoing strategy to extend its network of financing partners within as well as outside the CEE region. The deal is considered the first step in the long-term cooperation between CTP, Allinaz and ING Bank. “The conclusion of this agreement confirms CTP’s intention to continue institutionalizing our financing portfolio, which now exceeds €4bn, as well as maintaining our company’s dominant position on the market,” says Markéta Večeřová, corporate lawyer at CTP.
