CTP continues Romanian expansion plans

22 September 2016

CTP has invested more than €250m in Romania and is ramping up its development plans across the country. The developer recently handed over a 25,000 sqm distribution center in Cluj to Profi and is working on a new 30,000 sqm project at its Bucharest West Park, 10,000 sqm of which are still available, according to Marian Orzu, head of leasing and business development. CTP secured another permit for a 60,000 sqm building it plans to develop at the park. Construction on that project is set to break ground this year.

“In addition to warehousing and distribution, CTP’s strength is in completing properties for companies involved in manufacturing such as the €15m project in Pitesti/Catesca which is being handed over to French automotive giant, Faurecia,” said Orzu.

At CTPark Bucharest, the developer completed its first project with a leasable area of 15,000 sqm for tenants like Enlgmayear, DSV and Iron Mountain and is now working on a new 22,000 scheme for Raben. CTP’s projects are being co-financed by different banks, including Erste Bank, Societe General and Raiffeisen.
