CTP is on target to reduce energy consumption at its CTParks by 5 percent this year after installing LED lighting fixtures at its properties in Romania and the Czech Republic. The developer has currently retrofitted 100,000 sqm of space with an additional 150,000 to be updated with LED lighting by the end of the year.
“There are other ways to reduce energy consumption, but LED is the fastest, has the most impact and is very interesting for our clients. Due to this invention the client’s electricity bill decreases and the return of investment is fast, within less than two years,” said Stefan de Goeij, head of property management at CTP.
