Having signed 260,000 sqm of new lease contracts signed in Q1 2016, the developer CTP has brought the total leasable area in the CTPark Network to 3.5 million sqm in seven countries across CEE. More than half of the deals (151,000 sqm) were closed in the Czech Republic, including a 30,000 sqm renovation of an existing building for Lidl in CTPark Plzen. PPG leased 6,000 sqm in CTPark Modřice, Autoneum extended its 8,000 sqm lease in CTPark Bor and 22,000 sqm in CTPark Aš were leased to an undisclosed tenant.
The occupancy rate for the entire portfolio stands at 90 percent according to CTP’s Business Director Jaroslav Kaizr. In Slovakia, 19,000 sqm were signed during Q1, with 10,000 sqm going to Lear Corporation in CTPark Voderady and approximately 3,000 sqm to Faurecia in CTPark Zilina. Leasing activity in Romania picked up as well with more than 60,000 sqm of new deals. The 15,000 sqm lease agreed with OTZ was one of the largest in the country during Q1, with Laboratoarele Fares Bio Vital taking an additional 3,000 sqm in CTPark Deva. CTP concluded 30,000 sqm of transactions in Hungary.
