ABB signed an agreement with CTP to develop a new custom built 12,500 sqm manufacturing and R&D center at CTPark Brno. The new project will create 150 jobs in the high-tech sector. Construction will start immediately with completion scheduled for September this year. The facility will be the fourth project CTP has developed for ABB, including a robot service center, and a global design center in Ostrava, as well as a production facility at CTPark Modřice. “The new project confirms a strong long-term relationship with ABB and reflects the company’s positive outlook on the business climate in the Czech Republic,” said Remon Vos, CEO of CTP. “The selection of Brno for this high-tech operation reaffirms the city’s attractiveness as a key destination for international companies.”
Additional activities at CTPark Bno include construction of a 40,000 sqm production campus for FEI and the completion of the second phase of Honeywell’s new design center.
