Czech developer CTR bought its third project in Košice: a former industrial area of the textile producer Odevne závody kapitána Nálepku that stretches between Alvinczyho and Bellova streets. The developer plans to build 350 flats and a supermarket on the 1.1 ha site. CTR is currently working on planning documentation and hopes to break ground in two years. The urban conception of the project, called Rezidencia Albelli, is based on a design by the architect Juraj Koban, who prepared it for the previous owner of the site and is redesigning the project. The developer has 531 flats, 4,000 sqm of retail and 7,000 sqm office that’s currently under construction in Košice in projects called Rezidencia pri radnici and Business Center Košice III. The company recently announced its first project in Bratislava, Karloveské terasy, that should offer 90 flats.
