CTR group is planning to build over 250 flats and 11,000 sqm of office space this year in Germany and Slovakia. With construction permits in hand, the Czech investment group has broken ground on a 117-unit residential complex with commercial space in Dresden, and a mixed-use area with 141 flats and 10,000 sqm of office space in Košice. In these markets, CTR succeeded in securing the permits in two years or less, and the company’s CEO Jiří Horváth says that the planning process has been much more transparent.
The company will not start any new projects in Prague this year, due to blocked permitting. It is currently building residential project Panorama Pražačka and at the end of 2016 it completed Atrium Kobylisy. CTR Group also has two brownfield projects in Prague, in Prague 8’s Karlín region and in Prague 3 next to Viktorie Žižkov football stadium.
