Czech investment group CTR has started operating its first German rental residential project in Dresden’s historic city center, adjacent to the Zwinger gallery. The project, called Residenz am Zwinger, offers 103 fully furnished apartments, ranging from one to four rooms, retail space on the ground floor, a private garden and a club lounge on the roof. Ján Horváth, CTR’s real estate CEO, says the investment group plans to complete 550 flats in Dresden in four years. Some will be sold in blocks to funds, while some will be sold to end users, and some will be kept and rented out by CTR. The company is also planning to develop 141 rental flats at Business Center Košice III, along with 10,000 sqm of office. Marina Apartments, offering 77 flats in Regensburg, is also in the works. CTR has been operating a rental apartment project called Albertov Rental Apartments with 269 units in Prague for eight years.
