Cushman & Wakefield: Brno office vacancy down to 16.5%

8 September 2015

The vacancy rate in Brno offices has fallen to 16.5 percent since the beginning of the year, when it was still at 19.6 percent. That means the sector’s key indicator in Brno is now better than Prague, which suffers with 16.8 percent vacancy. Brno’s total of office stock stands at 482,900 sqm of office, with modern A class buildings making up for 80 percent of the figure, according to the most recent report by Cushman & Wakefield.

Lukáš Netolický from Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Agency team says that little new space is expected to come online next year. As a result, he says, incentives from developers are unlikely to be as generous as they’ve become in recent months in Brno.
