Custodian REIT acquires retail warehouse in Swindon

17 August 2016

Property investment company Custodian REIT has acquired a 4,143 sqm retail warehouse in Swindon for GBP 7.2m. The warehouse has two units, one that is currently let to outdoor and equipment retailer Go Outdoors and the other to retailer B&M Bargains. The current leases of the two units are set to expire by May 2021 and February 2025, according to the London Stock Exchange. The facilities are located close to Swindon’s city center and its train station, which make it a prime investment for the company. It’s the second warehouse the company has purchased this month after the acquisition of the 9,825 sqm distribution unit on the Winsford Industrial Estate near Cheshire.
