CVC Capital Partners, a leading global private equity firm, announced the appointment of Duco Sickinghe to its Benelux Advisory Board and TMT Advisory Board. Mr Sickinghe will assume both roles on 1 September 2013.
Mr Sickinghe was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Telenet, a leading provider of Cable Broadband services in Belgium, a position he had held since 2001. In his time at the helm of Telenet, he oversaw the listing of the company on the Euronext stock exchange in 2006, and he was voted best CEO of a listed Belgian company in 2011, 2012 and 2013, in a Thomson Reuters Extel survey of 9,200 asset managers and 2,400 bankers.
