The merger of the pay-TV companies “n” and “Cyfra+” closed last week. Canal + group, which owns Cyfra, will hold the majority stake in the new company that will be now known as “DTH nc +.” The biggest surprise, however, was the news that Markus Tellenbach, former president of Cyfra, would not be taking the helm of the new company, according to parkiet.pl. He was replaced by Julien Verley, who will also head the board of directors which includes Beata Mońka, Christian Anting, Nicolas Dandoy and Artur Przybysz. “DTH nc +” has a total of 2.5m pay-TV subscriptions.
