The technical difficulties Boeing is experiencing with its 737 Max airplane is causing havoc with air carriers and airports worldwide. For the Pardubice airport, the problem has killed off its most important flights as the low-cost airline Ryanair announced it had been forced to axe its flights to London for the summer season. With a frequency of three flights per week, the route was used by nearly 50,000 people in its first year. Smartwings has also announced that it’s had to reduce its summer schedule by 8 percent and is rescheduling or refunding passengers affected by the issue. The carrier has seven 737 Max aircraft in its fleet.
