Following a strong revival of 2015 that was boosted by increased efforts to tap available EU funds, the Czech construction sector now appears to be slowing, with output likely to be significantly down for 2016. The server Patria Finance writes that construction production dropped by 2.3 percent in the first quarter of 2016. Building construction has experienced a major slow down, though infrastructure construction continues to prosper, but the sector will not reach last year’s results. Residential looks to be the strongest sector in 2016, writes the server.
