A new courier company specialized in consumer deliveries has been created from the merger of two Czech companies, InTime and Ulozenka. InTime aquired Ulozenka earlier in the year but the new company, called WeDo is owned by PPF (40 percent) along with Patrik Tkac and Daniel Kretinsky (both with 30 percent). WeDo will offer home delivery through its 300 drivers, but customers can also choose to pick up their packages from lockers or from pick-up points placed around the country. At the moment, WeDo delivers up to 7 million parcels per year, but this will increase to more than 10 million next year. “Our goal is an overall change in parcel deliveries to individuals,” said the company’s executive director Daniel Mares. “Our clear priority is comfort for Czech customers who will be in charge of the delivery of parcels so that it matches their requirements. Our ambition is to be active outside the Czech Republic as well.”
