Czech Railways plans to purchase its own bus operator. They have received several offers for this, which they are now analyzing. Negotiations have already begun, for example, with the Vyškov company Vydos Bus. The E15.cz and zdopravy.cz servers pointed this out. The railways want their own bus carrier, especially to provide alternative transport..

Czech Railways wants to use the bus carrier mainly for the closure period as an alternative transport for trains. According to E15.cz, they now pay almost a billion crowns a year for external carriers. “It makes sense for us to provide alternative bus transport on our own, given the high prices from external suppliers, and thus reduce our costs,” according to its spokeswoman.

According to information in the Vydos Bus Commercial Register, revenues fell by more than half to CZK 37 million. At the same time, the company ended up with a loss of one million crowns, on the contrary, the year before it had a profit of almost nine million crowns. The carrier has a total of 165 employees. Last year, it performed transport mainly on the basis of public service contracts in public regular transport in Vyškov and its surroundings. According to the Commercial Register, the company is owned by the company of the Brno businessman Petr Bezouška.
