The Czech state is to pay Eurovia CZK 34m in compensation and in fees for late payments for construction work it carried out on the D47 motorway. The Prague City Court has approved the verdict. However, a lawsuit is currently underway between the state and Eurovia over the surface on the same motorway, which the Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD) insists will costs billions of crowns to repair. The lawsuit over the poor quality of 9 km long section of the D47 motorway in Ostrava started in 2011, in which ŘSD charges that that the foundation material Eurovia used was of a poor quality.
