The Czech state is planning to offload assets worth a total of CZK 548m in 2017. An office building near Prague’s main train station comes with the highest price tag, with bidding to start at CZK 299m. The 19th-century office building, located at the corner of U Půjčovny and Jeruzalémská streets in Prague 1, has housed a theatre, an auction hall and offices in the past. It was used by Úřad průmyslového vlastnictví (Industrial Property Office) most recently. The tender will close at the end of January, with the new owner to be chosen in early February, writes Hospodářské noviny.

A ski jump in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm in the Beskydy mountains is also on the market, with a minimum asking price of CZK 2.27m. A number of other properties and sites will also be sold off this year, the newspaper reports.
