Three-quarters of Czechs have a negative view of real estate agents, while just three percent expressed satisfaction with them, according to a survey cited in Lidové noviny. The primary complaint people had against agents was that they were dishonest and failed to provide true information. Zdravá nemovitost, is the group that sponsored the survey. Its director Michal Flachs, says “We often meet clients who have purchased real estate that’s a different size than what was advertised. In fact, when multiple real estate agencies offer the same piece of real estate, each often lists a different amount of space.” He says that people also complain that agents tend to want to sell properties at any price.
