Following the exit of Mats Williamson from Skanska CZ, the company’s board of directors is controlled entirely by Czechs. The E15 server reports that Williamson has been replaced as its chairman by the company’s president Michal Jurka and that Jiří Černík had been named financial director of the Czech and the Slovak groups of the company. Skanska’s spokesman Ondřej Svatoň said “It’s a planned changed that’s in line with our announcement in January by Skanska AB that it would be increasing the level of autonomy of local business units and that it would adjust the management model to be more direct and would respond better to the needs of business.” The company has had at least one Sweded in its top management since 2010.
