The reconstruction of the D. Luis I building in Lisbon is underway in a project, which will transform the historic building into a modern office building. The renovated property will also offer a gym, a cafeteria and a new roof garden and restaurant with panoramic views. The total investment will amount to €8m. Located in an area with growing demand for office space, it has a total area of 10,000 sqm and underground parking for 144 cars. MAP Engenharia is the contractor taking care that’s been assigned the renovation work. “We are very pleased with this project. I believe that the future of construction involves the refurbishment and rehabilitation of old buildings,”says José Rui Meneses, partner of MAP Engenharia company.
