Daniel Bienias replaces Waddell at helm of CBRE’s Polish business

23 July 2015

Five years after joining the company, Daniel Bienias was named new managing director for CBRE’s operations in Poland, the first Pole to take the position. Daniel Bienias graduated from Szczecin’s University, Warsaw University of Technology and Sheffield Hallam University. He gained professional experience at CA Immo, as well as advising a number of local and international corporations. Bienas has run CBRE’s t-rep business in Poland for more than five years.

He replaces long-term head of the Polish office Colin Waddell, who will move to the UK to take a senior management position within CBRE. Colin joined CBRE in 2000 and was appointed to head the Polish office in 2010. “Our Polish business has quadrupled in size over the last five years, with particular successes in capital markets and leasing as well as in the development of new services such as Asset Services and Workplace Strategy,” said Martin Samworth, CEO, EMEA, CBRE. “This is in no small part due to Colin’s stewardship.”
