Savills has announced its appointment of David Lawn as head of its Building & Project Consultancy team and Jakub Gajdos, who will start the firm’s investment operations. Lawn previously worked as development director of the Czech subsidiary of Doughty Hanson Real Estate, took part in creating the logistic portfolio of Pinnacle CEE, and managed planning stages of Zizkov Cargo Station development for Discovery Group. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of the Czech subsidiary of Gleeds. Gajdoš joins Savills from a senior investment position in JLL. He was involved in €3bn worth of investment transactions over the past five years including the recent sale of Olympia Brno and Florentinum in Prague.
