DB Schenker’s new Rudná headquarters underway

DB Schenker has started construction on its new CZK 600m headquarters in the town of Rudná just outside of Prague scheduled for completion in September. Built on a 90,000 sqm piece of land, the project is designed to be environmentally friendly, with a solar power plant, solar water heating and a heat pump. An 8,000 sqm warehouse building is part of the plans along with a 4,700 sqm office building with a canteen and café for Schenker’s 340 employees. The area will have 37,000 sqm of greenery and will also offer parking for 178 cars and 90 trucks.
