Debrecen receives HUF 7bn in state handouts

The Hungarian town of Debrecen has received more than HUF 7bn in government support for three development projects. The Debrecen airport will get HUF 1.35bn to build an 8,000 sqm Innovation and Incubation Center, a 4,000 sqm production hall and a 2,000 sqm logistics terminal. Another HUF 1.35bn was given to DIP Invest Ltd to create a 15,000 sqm industrial building. The last chunk of the money, HUF 4.7bn, will be given to Civis Ház to install five new businesses into the business park near the airport. The companies will create more than 250 workplaces. The companies will be mainly from the automobile and electronics markets.
