Serbia’s government has signed an agreement with UK-based car parts maker Delphi Automotive PLC for the construction of a new plant in Novi Sad. An incentives contract was signed last Friday by Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and Vincent Fagard, general director of Delphi for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The new production facility will employ about 3,000 people from the area. The plant should start production by the end of next year.
