Delta Holding will start the construction of an InterContinental hotel in Ljubljana and has a contract to that effect with InterContinental Hotels Group. Work on project documentation and interior is already underway for the project which is expected to require an investment of €42m. Construction work on the hotel should be completed in late 2016 or early 2017, said Marija Desivojevic Cvetkovic, VP of Delta Holding. The new five-star hotel will have 165 rooms, two banquet halls for 500 guests, conference halls, and a spa facility. The 21st floor of the hotel will feature a a restaurant with a panoramic view of Ljubljana.
