In the first three months of 2020, office demand in Warsaw fell 35 percent y-o-y, according to JLL. Between the first and third quarter of this year, a total of 447,000 sqm of space was leased in Warsaw. The most popular locations included the city center and the Mokotow district, responsible for 71 percent of the total demand. āThe largest transaction in the last three months was a deal for 6,200 sqm. Moreover, seven largest contracts were renewals, sometimes combined with expansion. Currently, tenants often decide to renew the lease for a short period of time and wait for a return to normalcy before making long-term commitments,ā said Mateusz Polkowski, head of research and consulting at JLL.
