The Demján group and the Chinese Ibusz will work together to bring more Chinese tourists to Hungary. Under a strategic agreement by the two companies, the goal is to increase total tourists traffic from the current 5,000 to 50,000 by 2015. To achieve this, however, a replacement for the discontinued Beijing-Budapest route by Hainan Airlines must be found, and the two sides agree that loss of Malev was a handicap as it meant Budapest could no longer serve as a jumping off point for other European destinations.
