Detectives arrested ten people in connection with today’s raid in Brno. They examine the activities connected with the activity of a specific city company, also in connection with the privatization of municipal buildings and also in connection with subsidy fraud committed in the territory of the city of Brno. This was stated in a press release today by Petra Lastovecká, the prosecutor of the supervising High Prosecutor’s Office in Olomouc, who reserved information on this matter to the public.
The police conduct house searches and searches of non-residential premises in several places. The criminal proceedings are for suspicion of participation in an organized criminal group and further relate to the legalization of proceeds from criminal activity committed for the benefit of an organized criminal group in the form of complicity.
