Deutsche Bank has leased 46,300 sqm of space in London for its new headquarters. The German bank signed a 25-year contract with Land Securities (Landsec) for a building located at 21 Moorfields. Landsec acquired a long leasehold interest in Moorfields site in 2012 and secured a planning permit for two buildings in 2016. The site is situated directly above Moorgate underground station and the western entrance to the Liverpool Street crossrail station. “We are delighted that Deutsche Bank chose to build on its existing relationship with us when it was selecting the site for its new London headquarters. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership approach and working with Deutsche Bank to meet its design requirements and business needs as we deliver its London headquarters,” said Colette O’Shea, managing director for London at Landsec.
