Deutsche Bahn will renew connections to all of its neighboring countries by the end of June, according to reports. This includes a direct line from Berlin to Vienna via Prague, the first time it will have run this route since cancelling it in 2014. The route will be supported by Czech Railways according to multiple news agencies. Additional lines to foreign destinations will be added gradually, including a Eurocity between Berlin and Warsaw beginning on June 22, and a connection between Munich and Italy three days later. High speed rail service on ICE trains will connect Berlin with Innsbruck as of June 27. Lines are already running almost normally between Germany and Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands, but Deutsche Bahn says it will still have to work to bring tourists back on board as lingering fears of the dangers of coronavirus remain.
