The Arbitration Court of Sverdlovsk region has recognized claims of insolvency against the company CJSC Carnelian and has therefore opened bidding for the company’s assets for six months. The finance company Otkryutie filed bankruptcy claims against CJSC Carnelian in August 2015. The total amount of the claims of creditors of the company is more than RUB 3bn. The developer launched BC Carneol in Sverdlovsk (Ekaterinberg) in 2009, with the 19-storey office building intended to add 15,000 sqm to the local market. The final dates of completion were postponed multiple times. The current completion date for the project is the last quarter of 2016. The unfinished business center was put up for sale for RUB 3.5bn at a point when it was 70 percent complete.
