Transportation company DHL Freight, part of Deutsche Post DHL Groups, opened in the Bulgarian capital Sofia a new logistics terminal, which will include a customs warehouse and logistics area of over 3,000 sqm. The new terminal has eleven automated and two specialised ramps for vans, storage of dangerous goods under the provisions of the international ADR agreement as well as high rack storage for more than 6,000 pallets.
“With the new DHL Freight terminal, we are adding another important hub in Eastern Europe for road haulage, especially in providing quick and easy access to our customers’ logistics solutions in the Sofia region,” said DHL Freight CEO Uwe Brinks.
