DHL Supply Chain is planning to expand the Primark logistics center in Mönchengladbach’s Güdderath district from 24,000 sqm to 64,000 sqm. The company will invest €20m in the structure and €10m in technological upgrades. The expansion, scheduled for completion in February, is necessary as Primark intends to open an additional eight clothing stores in the near-term. The facility, opened in 2012, handles deliveries to the the Irish retailer’s outlets in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
