Diehl Aviation opened a new engineering and support center in Debrecen, northern Hungary. The company hopes to employ about 150 people at the site by 2020. The center will support Diehl Aviation’s production facility in Nyirbator. The company’s support and service departments are currently all located in Germany. Diehl manufactures aircraft systems and cabin solutions and employs 5,400 people. Its main customers are Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier.
