Dimitris Raptis, Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Globalworth, will be one of the speakers at the 11th CEDER conference. The event will take place on 17th May, at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest and will gather the most important business leaders from the top companies active in the property sector.
Following a very successful 15-year track record years in the financial services and real estate investment management industries, most of which with Deutsche Bank’s real estate investment division (formerly known as RREEF for which he was Managing Director and European Head of the real estate private equity arm), Dimitris has spent the past 5 years towards turning Globalworth into the largest office-property owner and developer in Romania.
Globalworth was founded in February 2013 and, since then, made great progress with its mission, to establish itself as the region’s leading office investor, by investing in premium buildings, meeting the highest standards of quality, energy efficiency and environmental protection.
The company ranked as one of the most active investors in Romania over this period and in 2017 became the first local real estate investment company to expand in Poland by acquiring a controlling stake in GPRE, a leading real- estate Polish company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The significant expansion into Poland, the largest market in Central and Eastern Europe, is a pivotal development in Globalworth’s strategy to establish itself as the CEE leading office landlord.
The 11th CEDER conference will take place on 17th May, at Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest and the key topics this year will include rental market conditions, banking, financing, investment-grade developments and the requirements of institutional investors and private equity.
