Dino Polska has decided to build three distribution centres – in Biała Piska (Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodeship), Janów Lubelski (Lubelskie voivodeship), Morawica (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship) for a total of approximately PLN 420m net, the company said. The planned total warehouse space of each distribution centre will be approximately 45,000 sqm.
The company plans to complete the investment in 2024. – for the distribution centre in the Morawica municipality and in 2025 for the other two distribution centres.
In connection with the investment, agreements will be concluded with entities independent of the company that specialise in the implementation of such investments, including entities that will act as general contractors. The investment will involve the comprehensive construction and equipping of the distribution centres, which will include, among others, a freezer, a cold store, temperature-controlled warehouses, a dry store and a social and office area, along with the accompanying technical infrastructure, internal roads, parking spaces and its own eco-friendly source of power supply in the form of a 1MW photovoltaic installation. The planned total storage area of each distribution centre will be approximately 45,000 m2, the company announced.
The construction will be financed from the company’s own funds.
“The purpose of the new distribution centres will be to handle the delivery of goods to the growing number of Dino shops and to support the chain’s further geographical expansion,” it also stated.
