The Orlando metro area had the highest number of distressed home sales in April among the country’s 25 largest metropolitan areas, according to a new report from CoreLogic. Distressed sales accounted for 24.7 percent of total home sales in April in the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford region. The Miami metro (23.8 percent) and Tampa Bay (23.2 percent) rounded out the top three of the 25 largest core-based statistical areas. Nationwide distressed sales accounted for 11 percent of total home sales.
