DNB ASA to leave MetLife building in NYC after 20 years

23 September 2016

Norway’s largest bank, DNB ASA, has signed a new lease with the Related Companies to take up an entire floor of the company’s 30 Hudson Yards. The lender has signed a 15-to-20-year lease for 44,000 square feet for the entire 68th floor of the 80-story tower that is still under construction. DNB is relocating from a smaller footprint at the MetLife Building, where the bank has been on the 31st floor since 1995. When finished in 2019, 30 Hudson Yards will be the second-tallest tower in New York at 1,296 feet tall. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
